2010 Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge
 Once again this year, the
summer polo matches at the coveted Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge were among the most exciting in the
sport of polo. Some of the world's greatest equestrian athletes competed at Bridgehampton Polo Club
for one of sport's most treasured prizes.
An Overview of the Sport
A polo match lasts about 2 hours and is divided into
6 timed periods called chukkers. The object of the game
is to hit the ball down the
field and through the goal posts to
score. During half time, spectators
go onto the field in a social tradition called divot stomping. Check

July 18th thru August 22nd
General admission tickets are available on the day of the polo match. Admission is $20 per car.
All proceeds benefit the South Fork Breast Health Coalition. The VIP tent is reserved

The Bridgehampton Polo Club hosts the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Two Trees Farm, 849 Hayground
Road, Water Mill, NY 11976. From Montauk Highway Rte. 27 in Water Mill, NY 11976. Turn north onto
Hayground Rd for about 1/2 mile to entrance.
