U.S. Open Polo Championship

The U.S. Open Polo Championship, first played in 1904 at Van Courtland Park in New York City (the Wanderers defeated the Freebooters), is one of the three great polo tournaments, along with the British and Argentine tournaments.

The U.S. Open Polo Championship attracts the finest polo players in the world for a month long competition, including Adolfo Cambiaso, Mariano Aguerre, Pite Merlos, Sebastian Merlos, Lucas Criado, Pablo MacDonough, Magoo LaPrida, David Stirling,Agustin Merlos, Juan Martin Nero, Gonzalito Pieres, and Facundo Pieres.

103rd U.S. Open Polo Championship

Cambiaso led Crab Orchard to victory in the 103rd U.S. Open Polo Championship defeating Jedi 15-14 in front of a record crowd of 8,273 spectators.

2008 U.S. Open Polo Championship

The 2008 season of world class high goal polo in Wellington will begin on Sunday January 6, 2008 and conclude with the prestigious 104th U.S. Open Polo Championship Final on Sunday April 20, 2008. The polo matches are open to the public.
