AdministrationAll medications must be given only as directed by a veterinarian. Oral products are the most common form of administering Bute using an oral syringe into the back of the horse's mouth. Human Health RisksHumans should not inhale the powder or ingest Bute. Wash hands immediately after administering Bute. In humans, bone marrow, renal, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal side effects are associated with use of Phenylbutazone. |
